WHY THE PROGRESSIVE MOVEMENT CAN’T GO FORWARD. HINT: THEY’RE STUCK IN THE PAST.
I wore a hoodie yesterday. Saturday. But not to show that I’m in solidarity with leftists or the mainstream media, who shamelessly exploited the death of a black teenager for their own gain. No…I wore a bright, lightweight, soft hoodie because it’s one of my favorite shirts. Throw on a few more things and viola! I’m out the door and enjoying the day. And guess what? I have no regrets and I don’t apologize for wearing a “hoodie” because it’s simply an article of clothing.
Unfortunately, THE LEFT is growing more and more desperate to promote their cause, so using a hoodie as a symbol of solidarity is not beneath them. Only it’s not a nice hoodie. It’s a hoodie to evoke menacing thoughts and rile THE PEOPLE to revolt against…Capitalism? Religion? Hugs? The American Dream? By the way…the American Dream is the same dream it’s always been. So for those who are determined to redefine it, politically, to better serve those who are here, illegally, you can stop now.
You see, I believe millions of Americans on May 1, 2012, saw the Progressive Movement…comprised of liberals, democrats and socialists…displaying unpatriotic, anti-Americanism with pride. But more importantly, revealing their Marxist nature. The natural way to be, if you expect entitlements. It’s the natural way to be, if you want the government to rule over every aspect of your life from the cradle to the grave. Understand, as shocking as that is, what’s more shocking are the protestors on the street, who don’t care what happens to this country so long as they get their stuff!
What stuff? ObamaCare for one. A Free college education. Free cell phone. Free condoms. These are the gems of wisdom and political acuity courtesy of the Obama Administration. It is the “well, it’s better than nothing” solution that sadly, the president has wrapped up in a box with a pretty bow for his supporters. But it still stinks. Ahhhh…nothing in life is free. At some point, it cost someone, some “thing”, somewhere. Just take a moment and think about all the “free” stuff this liberal administration has offered without any warning that it will cost the American People in the future to repay this money.
I didn’t even list everything…I can’t…because I know there is more “free stuff” waiting in the wings for President Obama to be re-elected in November and God help us then. No! God help us, now. Please help every American to see that our children, grandchildren…descendants are being set-up and left with no other choice than to become Entitlement Seekers.
Contrary to what some Americans continue to believe, the Progressive Movement is not about moving FORWARD. The Progressive Movement lives in the past. So whatever they do should be viewed as a destructive step BACKWARDS for the people of this nation. I mean how much longer will we allow the THE LEFT to sledgehammer away at the foundation that made this country great?
But before you answer that question, you need to know the answer to this one…would you rather be a capitalist in the United States of America…or a communist marching in the streets?
