SINCE WHEN IS THE UNITED NATIONS THE OVERLORD OF AMERICA?

This week the NAACP will be in Geneva, Switzerland airing our business, the voter identification debate, before the U.N. Human Rights Council. I see this decision by the NAACP as a desperate move. It takes what is a domestic issue and ask foreign delegates to pass judgment on our voter registration and election process. Seriously, we all know Liberal-Democrats want to win across the board in November, but there is always the possibility they won’t be able to pull it off. So, drastic times call for drastic measures.

NEWSFLASH: The U.N. Human Rights Council is not the overlord of the world, and certainly not the United States of America. Don’t we get enough of the president telling us what to do? HHS? EPA? DHS? The last thing WE THE PEOPLE need is the United Nations in our business telling ALL FIFTY STATES what to do. But for certain, every state that has already passed a law that requires presentation of voter id at the polls? For your information, the council is made up of 47 members and here’s the list of countries the NAACP will more than likely go before to plead their case.  Current Membership of the Human Rights Council

Of course, racism will be mentioned as the main reason voter identification should not be required. No surprise. It is the only argument THE LEFT has to offer, especially in this day and age when you have to show identification to do any number of things on a daily basis. Write a check. Board a plane. Open a bank account. Buy alcohol or cigarettes. Rent a car. Apply legally for a job. Hey, to even go on a tour of the White House you have to comply with this rule:

“All guests 15 years of age or older will be required to present
photo identification with information exactly matching
the name previously submitted for clearance.  Individuals
whose identification does not exactly match the name
or data cleared for entry may be denied.”

It seems to me the purpose of this appearance before the U.N. is to bring embarrassment or perhaps…shame on the United States of America. I guess a lecture from those who sit on the Human Rights Council is supposed to chastise Americans. Forget the fact that THE LEFT wants to completely ignore the truth…rampant voter fraud that’s going on in this country on local, state and federal levels. I mean, wouldn’t you think matters such as dictators murdering their own citizens in the streets, would be little more important to the Human Rights Council than America’s way of handling voter issues in our own land.

Are we now to bow down to the U.N. Human Rights Council? I don’t think so, not when a number of those listed on the membership roster require voter identification in their own countries. Let’s start with the country of Mexico. And the reason these countries require voter identification is because their political system is corrupt and has been for hundreds of years. So who are they to tell us not to require proof of citizenship with the presentation of a driver’s license, state issued id card or U.S. passport in order to vote? Lest I remind everyone, citizens are the ONLY people in this country who have the right to vote.

For years now, the question has been asked, if given the anti-American sentiment that has grown over the years from members within the U.N., should the United States separate both our money and our alliance with this two-face organization? I say yes…and soon.
